“I booked Welcome to Budapest for our transfer from the Airport to our hotel as there were so many excellent reviews here on TripAdvisor for them. We were not disappointed, Tamas was there waiting for us at the arrivals with my name on a tablet so you could not miss him. He is such a Gentleman, taking my bag from me and wheeling it to his car. He was very welcoming and explained to us how the trip would go. He showed us a film of all several different places that we may like to visit which was very interesting. He also advised us about different foods that we may like to sample. Most important of all, he gave us advice on where and where NOT to exchange our currency without getting ripped off. He advised us about which Taxis were best to use also. We finished the journey with a short and amusing lesson in how to use a few Hungarian phrases. Also shortly after we had settled into our hotel Tamas sent me a download for my phone of most of the things that he had covered on the trip plus a few more.

I would highly recommend “More Than a Transfer” from Welcome to Budapest as a great way to start your trip.”

“Zoltán picked us up right on time from the airport even with an early flight arrival time. He was so warm and welcoming, we knew we were going to have a great vacation. On our transfer into the city, Zoltán spoke to us about Budapest’s history, food, and things to do. Zoltán was easy to converse with and his presentation about Budapest was so useful! We took all of his advice which helped us greatly. He helped us learn a few phrases in Hungarian to help us get by too! I would highly recommend this service. The car was very nice, clean and professional.”
