The original idea behind More Than a Transfer was to turn the often boring ride from Budapest Airport to the hotel into something more memorable.
During the arrival transfer, guests sit comfortably in the back seat while I share a live introduction to Budapest with photos on an iPad. It is not a recorded video and not a formal sightseeing tour. It is a personal, visual welcome to the city: landmarks, stories, history, local tips, food recommendations and small details that help visitors understand Budapest before they start exploring it on their own.
This is still one of the most important parts of my work: making the first hour in Hungary feel easy, friendly and useful.

Over the years, Welcome to Budapest has grown naturally. Many guests who first booked an airport transfer later asked for a private Budapest sightseeing tour, a countryside day trip, or a reliable transfer to another city in Hungary or Central Europe.

These countryside tours are especially close to my heart. I enjoy showing guests the most beautiful parts of my homeland and talking about Hungarian history, culture and everyday life along the way. Some days become relaxed sightseeing tours. Other days turn into long conversations about history, food, family stories, architecture, politics, wine, travel and life in general.
