Travelling with kids in Budapest?

I often drive families with young children from the airport, sometimes straight to their hotel, sometimes all the way to Lake Balaton. One thing is always clear: traveling with kids can be a challenge, especially after a long flight.

That’s why I always ask in advance if you need a child seat. Whether it’s a booster for a 5 year old or a proper car seat for a toddler, I prepare everything before you arrive, so you don’t have to worry about a thing once you’re here.

Real Story, Real Peace of Mind

One of my favorite transfers was with an Irish family heading from Budapest Airport to Lake Balaton. They had two young children, a 5 year old boy who needed a booster seat, and a 3 year old girl who needed a proper child seat.

Everything was ready before they arrived. The father sat next to me in the front, and the mother sat in the middle of the back seat, with the kids safely secured on each side.

About an hour into the ride, I noticed something in the mirror: Everyone had their eyes closed, either fast asleep or totally relaxed. At the end of the trip, the mother turned to me and said: “Honestly, that was the best confirmation, all four of us fell asleep at some point. That just shows how safe and relaxed we felt.”
