How your transfer from Budapest Airport to Marriott Hotel works (step by step)

Before you fly – You receive a confirmation with pickup details and my direct contact. Share your flight number and any special requests (child seat, extra luggage, etc.).
Landing & pickup – I track your flight, and wait for you outside the terminal. As soon as you get ready send a message on Whatsapp (free wifi at the airport) and i arrive in 3-5 minutes to the meeting point. The Budapest airport is well organized, i will find you easily.
Comfortable start – Bags in, water offered, temperature set as you like. You choose: quiet ride or conversation and tips.
Insider orientation – On the way, I give you a curated iPad photo intro to Budapest: easy first walks, must-see viewpoints, and where to try authentic Hungarian food near the hotel.
Direct drop-off – We arrive at the Marriott Budapest main entrance on the Danube Promenade. I help with luggage and make sure you feel oriented before I go.

Outside the terminal you find “Zone” signs. I monitor the arrival terminal, and know the zone structure, so i can tell you the best meeting point.

Travel time, distance & typical route

Expect around 35-45 minutes to the Marriott, depending on traffic. We take the most efficient route into the city center and along the Danube so your first glimpse of Budapest is already memorable.

Luggage & vehicle

Clean, comfortable car with space for typical suitcases and hand luggage. If you’re traveling with extra-large bags, sports gear or a stroller, just let me know in advance and I’ll plan accordingly. Child seats are available on request.
